How cosmofil classifies hosts
As the number of hosts on cosmofil grows we will start to classify and rank hosts according to a number of criteria.
Taxonomy
As the number of hosts grow we will need to broaden the taxonomy by which users are able to navigate the site.
As more hosts are added to each country we will start to add regional classification - ie Umbria and Tuscany will become sub-sections within Italy.
As more hosts are added into each country we will add continental classification - ie Italy will become a sub-section of Europe.
The cosmofil Experience
On Country and/or Regional pages and in search results, prominence will be given to hosts who provide the most relevant cosmofil experiences.
Referrals/reviews/testimonials from cosmofil guests.
Positive reviews will result in more prominence. To start off with the view as to what constitutes a positive view will be based on an editorial judgement rather than on a rating.

We will also give more prominence to host listings which have the highest quality and most comprehensive information.
