Description of accommodation and area: In the centre of the small and peaceful village of St Jeannet, away from the hot and crowded coast, our home was previously a small hotel that we converted and renovated into a family house.
Three of the bedrooms are equipped with balconies and sea views, while the other three look onto the "Baous" – a range of limestone hills that form the rear and lateral frontiers of the surrounding landscape.
The Baou of St Jeannet (named after the village) is internationally known by rock climbers as a spectacular site for climbing. To the east is the Baou of La Gaude and the Baou of Gattières, and in the west are the Baou des Noirs and the Baou des Blancs. It is said that truly resilient men (and women) could climb all five peaks in one day.
As you walk along the narrow streets of the village, discover the secrets that make St Jeannet so special. And if you are lucky enough to meet any village elders, they might even share them with you...

The Cosmofil experience: During our 15-month trip around the world, we realised that our best experiences had been when we had the opportunity to meet local people and share their life and their culture. This is what we try to offer now, with the belief that the best impression of a country is gained by experiencing it with local people.

Language support: We are very flexible and can provide whatever our guests require, from Icebreaker to Cosmopolite level.
Corinne has a FLE degree that enables her to adapt to any level. We are both happy to speak French to our guests and take the time required for them to understand.
Our English is good enough to have very fluent conversations, but apparently there’s nothing we can do about our French accent!

Wine tastings
Activities: We offer our guests all the above-mentioned and are always looking for new sources of local interest. St Jeannet has its own vineyard, held by the same family for four generations and there are also several olive mills and olive grounds where our guests can view old and modern methods of producing olive oil.
As a professional mountain guide (Brevet d’Etat d’Accompagnateur en Montagne), I am keen to organise walking trips for guests. We can also arrange cooking classes.
Other: Families are very welcome and we could organise special activities for kids, such as visits to a local organic farm with animals.
