Description of accommodation and area: The Mercantour is France’s most recently created, largest and certainly one of its finest national parks. Its location offers the best of all worlds, magnificent scenery and every conceivable outdoor activity, just an hour north of the French Riviera. The fauna and flora in the Mercantour is second to none.

La zourcière is a farmhouse in the hamlet of Berthemont le Bains. They offer a gite and B&B. Fresh organic produce, milk, cheese and honey are available within walking distance.

Trekking in snow

The Cosmofil experience:
Apart from sporting activities (walking and trekking, biking, horse riding, flying etc), local gastronomy can be featured, as well as cookery lessons and art classes. There are many rustic cultural events to go to and the locals are genuine
and welcoming.

Walking

Language support: Both Mel and Liz are French-speakers (Mel also speaks Welsh!). They can offer all three levels of language support and have French colleagues always willing to help if native assistance is needed. Check out their fantastic "Walk and Talk" holidays.

Other: As well as breaks in the Mercantour, they are also able to organise holidays in villages closer to the coast and in the Var, in homes nestling amid the vines. They can also offer time out in Cultural Nice to enjoy the museums, as well as the local markets, and hone conversation skills.
