Manoir d’Aulage

Description of accommodation and area: In the heart of the Pays de Bray, in Saint Martin l’Hortier, Françoise and Serge welcome you to their 18th-century manor surrounded by a one-hectare park. You can relax in two large, but cosy bedrooms with ensuite shower and WC and nice views of the countryside.

Located between Rouen and Dieppe, Le Manoir D’Aulage offers you the chance to discover legendary castles, beautiful gardens, coast and cliffs. A traffic-free greenway near the house allows you to walk, cycle or rollerskate in complete safety. You will find swimming pools, forests, tennis courts and a golf course nearby.

The hosts: Françoise and Serge are Belgian. They lived in California for six years and spent seven years in Strasbourg, France, before settling down in Normandy in 1997. Serge is a Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Rouen and has a keen interest in history, old buildings and antiques. Françoise has a scientific background, with a degree in Biology, but left that area some time ago to raise their three sons, now aged 23, 21 and 15. She loves chatting, cooking and gardening
