Le Castel Enchante

Description of accommodation and area: Beautiful small French village midway between Toulouse and the mediteranean. Main business is viticulture and tourism. Still very French peasant culture. 3 km from the Medieval Cite of Carcassonne and nestled between the Black Mountains and the Alaric. Village has population of 450 and there are many local carnivals and festivals during April May June July and August.

The Cosmofil experience: I would be happy to organise access to local people as I spend a lot of time here alone I have made friends with many people and partake of the of the local facilities. amongst my close friends I have a professional French/English Teacher and also speakers of fluent French and English and infact yesterday met a lady who speaks Chinese also. I am involved as Secretary of a French/English Association and can easily organised trips to call places of interest nearby and also an ardent walke. I am a cometent cook of healthy and tasty fresh food and would be able to provide breakfast/lunch and dinners as required at a reasonable price.

Activities: There are many things to do in the area, visiting castles, fortresses, abbeys and many places of natural beauty. There is canoeing,close-by is a fantastic Woodland Airpark with a zip wire which runs across the lake. The Mediteranean is only 35 minutes away, ski-ing is around 90 minutes distance in the winter months. Local markets abound together with the Minervois/Corbieres/Cabardes closeby there is much wine tasting.

Other: Both Malcolm and I are very enthusiastic about our Region of France and both of us knowledgeable. We can organise language exchanges very easily and I believe that we could bring a wealth of knowledge and a truly memorable experience to your clients.
