Description of accommodation and area: Le Moulin de Nouville is in South Burgundy, near Macon. Nouville is a hamlet near the medieval city of Cluny. The area is full of interesting places to visit and a walker's or biker's dream area, with excellent restaurants of course, "caves" where one can sample Macon wines. If you are interested in the other type of caves, one of the unique features of this Southern Burgundy region is the presence of two caves of prime importance. Mentioned in texts prior to the Revolution, they were not particularly popular before the second half of the 20th century when they were rediscovered, namely through the development of potholing. They have now become places not to be missed by visitors of all ages. And for the enthusiasts, it is in particular an incomparable showcase of local prehistory and palaeontology. The house for rent is close to the water-mill, your guests' house and consists of a sitting room, dining room, a well equipped kitchen, one bedroom with en suite bathroom. The vine shaded terrace is a lovely place for reading or eating, unless you prefer to picnic in the well designed garden.

The Cosmofil experience: The guest house is close to the owners' house. Marie Christine and Jerzy will be happy to help you organise your stay and tell you about their area. Jerzy is a Polish born musician who works from home and has a passion for history, especially local history. You are welcome to visit him in his workshop to learn how stringed instruments are made or to listen to the local tales that he is an expert on.

Language support: Cosmopolite

Activities: The area is great for walking and cycling between places of interest or to one of the several lakes for a refreshing dip in the water. Wine tasting is of course a must and your hosts will tell you which are the best "caves" to visit. Paragliding, potholing and rock climbing are just two of the many activities offered in the area.
Other: Marie Christine and Jerzy can give you all the support you need with the French language but they also speak English and are fluent speakers of Polish, Russian and German.
