Description of accommodation and area: Portese is a small town nestled in the Valtenesi hills, overlooking the
gulf of Salo and the mountains behind. There is still a slow pace of life in Portese, a traditional fishing and farming town.
Le Chiusure is situated in the oldest part of the village, and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The apartments have recently been restored and decorated in keeping with the style of the house. There is a library, which has books and photographs of the area.

The Cosmofil experience: Paola and Alessandro will be more than happy to give you a tour of their vineyards and olive groves and answer all your questions about wine and olive oil production. They will also direct you to the best restaurants (which they supply!) and to some very authentic places known only by locals.

Language support: Alessandro speaks good English and Paola good French, but they will be pleased to speak to you in Italian to give you the support you require. Their children, Livia, 14, and Pietro, 9, always look forward to making new friends from abroad.
