If you enjoy learning foreign languages just for pleasure or because you think it is important to communicate in the local language when you are on holiday, welcome to the Cosmofil House of Languages, Alfriston, East Sussex.
What do we do?
We teach all levels of French, Italian, Greek and Spanish on a One to One basis or to Small Classes with a maximum of 6 students. We organise cultural activities (Wine Tastings, Film evenings, Treasure Hunts etc) to give you the opportunity to practise and to learn more about the culture of your chosen foreign language.
For all other foreign languages, email us and we’ll find you a suitable teacher.
We also teach English as a foreign Language. Live the Language in Alfriston is a new concept of language teaching involving a whole village! Our CELTA certified teachers teach lessons in the morning on a One to One or small class basis and local businesses provide our foreign students with the practice they need to acquire confidence, so they can be studying asking questions in the morning and serving customers in a tearoom or in a jeweller shop in the afternoon! Teachers are available all year for professionals and during the summer for our younger students. Based in the heart of the Sussex Downs, Alfriston is a delightful historic village offering the safe environment parents want for their children.
